Prize award ceremony for the Dr. KSST Prize

 

Matteo Stefanoni was awarded the Dr. Klaus Seppeler Foundation Prize for his doctoral thesis regarding the subject of “The corrosion of steel in near-neutral porous media – Corrosion rate in carbonated concrete” on the 12th of November 2019.

The prize, which was awarded for the 15th time in 2019, annually honours outstanding master and doctor study course students in the field of corrosion protection. The Dr. Klaus Seppeler Foundation Prize was originally created in 2005 on the initiative of the Dr. Klaus Seppeler Foundation and the Association for Corrosion Protection (Gesellschaft für Korrosionsschutz e.V GfKORR) and is endowed with 2,000 Euros.
