How is tank data management important for your company?

Efficient processes are a vital factor for the long-term success of your business. There is no record of the use of fuel when using conventional tank installations equipped with a standard quantity counter that does not record the fuel. As a result, misappropriations are tempting. Companies lose around 5 - 10 % of fuel every year on account of this. By using a modern tank data management system, you can counteract this. Thanks to Rietberg Smart Fuel, you will be able to access the answers on your mobile phone, tablet or PC without wasting any time in future. This is because our system enables you to digitally manage and control all refuelling processes in your company - regardless of whether they involve a machine or a vehicle.

The system is a web-based cloud system and a user-friendly interface that provides you with all information in a straightforward and transparent manner. Instead of being tied to a specific end device, you can view or edit all data on the move and completely independently of time and place. This is particularly practical if you want to keep an eye on several machines or vehicles at once. Thanks to our system, you are not restricted in any way, but have the opportunity for unlimited management of your tanks, machines, projects and users.

More transparency through comprehensive reports

Managing tank authorisations, master data, quotas and quotas is possible via one system, as is the display of all fuel levies, refuelling operations or leakages. This means all the important information you need is clearly presented - in Excel tables, as a PDF file or printed out on paper. The choice is yours! You would like to create detailed reports? No problem. Simply filter the desired data according to project, location, tank, machine or user and thereby benefit from accurate data collection that provides you all valuable insights.

You want real flexibility? Brought to you in an app?

Secure authentication and data transmission are provided by our app. Our app is available free of charge in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and only requires a smartphone and Bluetooth. Immediately after starting the app, a connection is made between the end device and the RSF control unit. Even if you do not have access to a network, the app will continue to work. Transmitted refuelling data is temporarily stored in the smartphone and completely transmitted as soon as you are connected to a network again. No refuelling process is lost.

Thanks to the high storage capacity of the cloud-based system, an incredible number of refuelling operations can be documented per year. Not only is our system very flexible and highly mobile, we don't make any compromises with regard to security either.

Stay in complete and secure control with RSF

We integrated a well thought-out security concept while developing Rietberg Smart Fuel.

The software operates fully automatically and "invisibly" in the background at all times. Time-consuming manual checks - which are also always prone to errors - become largely superfluous.

User authentication

You can use Rietberg Smart Fuel to assign each user and each machine a specific fuel quota. Only users who are authorised to do so can use the system. The system detects the respective user and ensures that the refuelling process stops once the permitted fuel limit has been reached.

Role management

You can define various roles with different permissions. Only the system administrator can create roles and projects, assign fuel quotas or amend and delete users without restriction. Simple app users, on the other hand, only have specific fuelling permissions, but no access to the portal. That means abuse of the system is largely out of the question.

Encryption

All data that is sent via the system and the app is encrypted and thus protected during transmission.

Data backup

Information and data compiled and accessed via the system is backed up on German servers according to the highest security standards.

Warn system

Thanks to the constant comparison of the transmitted data, RSF is able to detect discrepancies. Our system reliably analyses the fuelling data and will inform you about implausible filling level changes. This is also how limit values being reached is detected in good time. RSF will also remind you of any upcoming inspections or reviews as per ADR.
